Allo polish Pals!
I hope you are feeling dandy this morning?
Before I do anything, or forget... I must remind you today is the last day to enter my nail art giveaway. You can enter here.
Today I have some nail art I did very recently. I've been in a rut again. I created about 4 manicures I just hate too much to use or post. I'll like certain bits and pieces of it... but the base polish will be wrong...Or I should have done that bit on the thumb... So while I actually still have posts I created whilst in England, I've chosen to show you this one first.
The inspiration for these parachuting piggies was found on Pinterest, I believe they are characters called 'Toot and Puddle' although its not something I ever remember reading or watching it, I thought it was too cute. You can see that here. (I didn't copy everything exactly, that'd be too many teeny tiny houses!)
For this manicure I began with two coats of Barry M's 'White' polish and created a gradient using Barry M's 'Sky Blue' and Rimmel's 'Roll In The Grass' from the Rita Ora collection. I created everything else in acrylic paints and I used my new favourite super teeny weeny magical brush which I won in a nail art contest, I plan to tell you more about that in another post :)
I was kind of happy about how this came out. I'm not overly happy the pink on my piggies isn't blended and looks more like pink outlines... and my fields could have been better like in my rolling countryside post... But I think it still looks kinda cute?
Have you ever heard of Toot and Puddle? What do you think of this nail art?
Have a Mega-Terrific day!
